Welcome to The Cook House

The Cook House is a small 22 seater licensed Cafe and Bistro located in Windermere village in the Lake District. It is close to the train station and on the main road down to the Lake.

Daytime is dedicated to providing top quality cafe food, and on weekend evening becomes a smart Bistro with a menu which changes every week. All our food is fresh, sourced locally where possible, and above all cooked with passion.

The Cook House is decorated in a modern country style perfectly in-keeping with the area.

Where possible, everything we sell is homemade. Everything is made fresh to order. If we can cater to your specific dietary requirements we will and we always offer a gluten free food as part our main menu.
